Recurna Flow is a web-first app, built as a Progressive Web App (PWA). There is no download in the App Store or Google Play. Instead, you add it straight from your phone’s browser, and it lives on your home screen like any other app — full screen, its own icon, no browser bars.
Forecast, simulation, and reconciliation all work on a phone. Here is how to install it on each platform.
On iPhone and iPad
Use Safari for this. Add-to-Home-Screen is a Safari feature on iOS, so Chrome or Firefox will not show the option.
- Open flow.recurna.app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, in the toolbar.
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Keep the name Recurna Flow (or rename it), then tap Add.
The Recurna mark now sits on your home screen. Open it from there and the app runs full screen, without Safari’s address bar.
On Android
Use Chrome for the smoothest result.
- Open flow.recurna.app in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
- Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Confirm with Install.
Chrome may also show an install banner at the bottom of the screen when you first visit. Tapping that does the same thing.
What you get
- Its own icon on your home screen, alongside your other apps.
- Full-screen — no browser address bar eating your space.
- Faster return visits — the app shell is cached, so it opens quickly.
You still sign in with the same account, and your data syncs the same way as in the browser. Installing changes how the app looks and launches, not where your data lives.
A note on native apps
Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap. The PWA exists so you can get a real home-screen app today, without waiting on app-store review. When native ships, your account and data carry over unchanged.
